When can I move the plants in my garden?

I live in zone 5 and want to move a Carpet Rose, Lavendar Rose, Japanese Iris, Cranesbill Geranium, Aster and a Potentilla - Mango Tango. My garden has no form ... it looks like the plants were just thrown into it. I really need to do some grooming.

Hi, The best time to move all these plants is in the early spring, just as they begin to break dormancy.
