Mealy Bugs

Can you ever really get rid of mealy bugs if you get them?

Hi, They can be difficult to get rid of once established. You need to spray at regular intervals with a houseplant insecticide to keep them in control. With small infestations, you can get rid of them with a Q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol that you rub on each bug, but if you have a lot of them, you need to spray or toss the plants and start over with new plants. Just be sure to sterilize your pots with a bleach solution if you reuse the same pots.
