Hydrangea's bloom

Thanks for writing. Some hydrangeas have a compact growth habit --- and because of their big leaves, the flowers get buried. This is a characteristic of some varieties and, unfortunately, there's not usually much you can do about it except choose varieties that have a larger, looser habit.
