How do I fertilize my large outdoor potted jade plant?

How often do I fertilize a large potted outdoor jade plant (I already know what time of year to fertilize)? Do I use full strengh or half strength? Do I use succulent/cactus fertilizer, african violet fertilizer, or general plant fertililer? Thank you. Peggy Shreve

Most succulents, including jade need very little fertilization. If it is growing well, you may not need to fertilize at all, and if you decide to fertilize, use rates on the low side of recommended amounts. An all-purpose fertilizer (something like 10-10-10) is fine, although if you have a specialty cactus and succulent fertilizer, that would work, too.
