Garden soil

Planting tomatoes and radishes in garden. Beautiful foliage on top of radishes, no radishes at bottom. Tomatoes beautiful vines no tomatoes until late Sept. and very few then. Could something be missing in our soil. We use cow manure every other year.

Hi, Well my first thought is that you might be overfertilizing your soil. If your soil has too much nitrogen, plants will often develop a lot of top, leafy growth, but won't do much else. Also, these plants require a lot of sun to develop properly. Make sure they are growing where they get at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sun a day.
