Climbing Hydrangea w/o Blooms

I have a nine year old climbing hydrangea that has never bloomed. It is about fifteen feet tall and quite full. It is on the west face of a brick building and gets several hours of sun each day. Other than the lack of blooms, it seems quite happy.

Climbing hydrangea is notorious for taking years to bloom, although 9 years is longer than most will take. Still, if your plant seems to be happy and healthy, i suspect you just have a late starter. Also, you dont' mention pruning, but FYI only prune  right after bloom, since the plants set flower buds in summer for the following year.
