What is the best fertilizer for tomatoes
The best fertilizer for any veggie garden is compost and/or rotted manure. If you have a rich, well drained, organic soil, your plants will do well on their own. If you like, you can add a little slow-release granular fertilizer around your plants to help feed them through the summer. Buy a blend for designed for vegetables at your local garden center or home store. I do not recommend Miracle Gro spray for veggies. Fertilizer is made up the key ingredients plants need to live: nitrogen, phosphorous and potash as well as trace minerals.
