What can I do with bulbs that I didn't get planted last Fall?
I did not get all my tulip bulbs planted last Fall. They are sprouting now in the bag. Can I plant them this outdoors this Spring or should I try to plant in pots indoors? (could make nice Easter gifts)
I don't want to waste them!
I live in southwest Wisconsin.
Although the bulbs may have started sprouting, they likely won't continue to grow properly with a cold treatment. It would be best to pot them up and stick them in a cold spot like an old refrigerator, or possibly an unheated garage so that their roots will develop and they'll get the cold that they need.
