Planting muskmelon(cantaloupe)...please help.
Hi, It's been my experience that melons don't do as well in containers as they do in the soil, but if you have a large container and room for the plant to send out it's long tendrils, I'm sure you will do fine if you use a good quality potting soil. Just remember to not let the plant dry out too much. Melons are thirsty plants and since containers dry out faster than garden soil you'll need to keep a close eye on the plants.
