limp and saggy stems and leaves

Why do plant leaves start to go limp and sag? If it is not because it is over watered?

Thanks for writing. Plant leaves will often wilt if the plant is not getting enough water; if it is getting too much water; if the plant is getting too much hot sun; if the plant has been subjected to frost; or if something is attacking the roots so the plant is having trouble absorbing enough moisture from the soil to support the leaves.
