when should i repot a new plant i bought a succulent kalancha plant and dont know when to repot it i live in kansas city mo
Hi, Well succulents such as kalanchoe don't need to be repotted very often, but if you think your plant is ready for transplanting you can do it anytime. For best results use a potting mix designed for succulents. Keep in mind, that the kalanchoes commonly sold in bloom as gift plants often don't bloom again after their flowers fade. So, you may or may not want to bother repotting it since doing that won't improve your chances of repeat bloom. I can't be sure since I don't know what kind of kalanchoe you've purchased, but the common ones you see for sale in grocery stores and florist shops are more of a one time blooming gift.
