Seed pods on Stella D'Oro daylillies
Thanks for writing. You can grow daylilies from the seeds in the pods, but they won't be 'Stella D'Oro', just like the same way that you're not an exact replica of your mother or father.
Ifyou wish to plant the seeds to see what you get from them, fall is a great time to plant them. Just prepare a seedbed in a protected spot in your yard; loosen the soil and add some compost. Then plant the seeds and keep the area moist. Some seeds may sprout this autumn and others may wait until spring. Keep nurturing them -- you should get blooms in about two years.
