Droopy Hydranga

I recently potted a hydrangea. It looks very wilted all the time. I water it and try to keep it out of direct sunlight. . What am I doing wrong? I am in Ocala, Florida

It sounds as though you're doing the right things to help your hydrangea recover from the transplant. Hydrangeas love moisture and do well out of direct sunlight. It may just take longer for the roots to recover from the transplant operation. Continue to keep the soil moist, but not soggy. Too much water can cause root rot.
