Brown spots on the leaves are usually an indication of a fungal disease. However, by the time the spots show up, the disease infection period may already have passed. If weather conditions are no longer moist/wet, the problem may not spread. If conditions are still right for disease development, a protective fungicide spray may prevent spread of the problem.
