On the leaves of my bonsai plants, there are brown spots, gradually grows bigger causing the leaf fall. Is it a disease, or malnutrition or some deficiency?

Nutrient deficiencies usually begin as yellowing or reddish discoloration. If your bonsai plants are getting brown spots on their leaves, it's more likely a fungal leafspot disease. There are protective fungicide sprays that you could use to prevent additional infection. You might also try keeping the humidity a little lower because most fungal diseases prefer high humidity.
