Black spots on coral bells

I bought a yellow leaf coral bells tiramisu, and the older leaves turn brown and die. I have this plant in half shade and water it regularly. Is the problem the location or a disease? My soil tends to be alkaline and is sandy.

The problem may be due to a combination of things. Tiramisu heuchera will grow best in partial shade, especially at latitudes where the sun can be intense. And until the root system is well established it needs frequent and regular watering to prevent the leaves from browning, especially since you note that the soil is sandy.
