Black spots on Celery stalk and leaves.

I planted celery this spring. It is growing! yay. But it has some stalks and leaves with black spots. I have put cartons around the stalks to help them stay upright and protect from critters. Are the black spots from too much water and not enough drainage? Should i cut the black leaves off or just let alone?

Thanks for writing. There are several diseases that can attack celery. Wet, rainy weather can certainly encourage them.
