Rabbits ate my Stargazers

I live in area 5 and this year bought a dozen Stargazer Lillies. They all came up and started to leaf out and overnight the rabbits ate the top off and stunted them. I did dig them up to see what the bulbs looked like and they looked real healthy. My question is, "Will they come back in the spring"? Yes, I will have a fence around them!!!!

Thanks for writing. If your lilies still have some leaves, they should come back and bloom in the spring. If the rabbits ate pretty much all the leaves off your plants, then I'd guess they'd come back next year but not bloom. (They bloom best if they keep their foliage for a full season.)
