hyacinth stems

my hyacinths stems are very heavy so they have drooped to the counter what cause them to do this?

Hi, Hyacinths that have been forced to bloom for indoors often get top-heavy and fall over. There's not much you can do about it once it happens. They do have a tendency to do this more often if they are kept in a warm room. The cooler the room is, the less likely they'll get too tall and topple.
