How deep do I plant Star Gazer lilies?

i need to know how deep to plant Star Lillies? my mom got a few bulbs, and need to put them in for her. guess they are white and star shaped with red, i think, in the middle?

Thanks for writing. Plant Oriental lilies such as 'Star Gazer' about 6 inches deep. You can go a little shallower if you have heavy clay soil. BTW: If you do have clay soil, amending it with compost will help your lilies a lot!
