Dead Flowers (repost)

I have some hyacinthus flowers that I set out that died a few weeks after I set them out. I cut the dead flowers down to the bulb. Will new flowers sprout from the bulb that is left in the ground?

Hi, If you these are hyacinths that were grown in pots (they are often sold as gift plants in the spring) they won't come back. Hyacinths that have been forced to bloom for gifts are a one-shot deal. You toss them when they are finished blooming.
