Can I transplant a lily from an outside garden to another this late in the year?

I don't know if my previous question went through. I would like to transplant a lily I have in my yard to another location in the yard. Is it OK to do it now. The weather is fairly mild for this time of year.

If transplanting lily bulbs late in the season, mulch the area heavily after planting to delay freeze up of the soil. The bulb needs to develop a new root system. Root growth will continue as long as the soil is not frozen.
