Can I plant bulbs in spring that should have been planted in the fall?

I have "Windflower Mix" bulbs that should have been planted in the fall. Can I plant them in the spring and still get flowers? How do you recommend that I go about planting them?

Usually spring flowering bulbs that don't get planted in the fall either dry up or rot over winter. Windflower is a type of anemone that is an early spring bloomer. I suspect that your bulbs are dried up and won't sprout. They need several months of near freezing temperatures in order to flower as well.
