i live in illinois,,,i got bulbs in the mail in March, i i planted them April 20th, will they do anything this year?
Hi, What kind of bulbs did you get? If you received them in the mail I'm guessing they must be summer bulbs such as dahlia, gladiolus, canna, caladium or calla. You can plant them outdoors after frost danger has passed. But, if for some odd reason you received tulips or daffodils you can't do anything with them except put them on the compost pile. These are only fall planted and shipped at that time. Don't know why you'd ever get tulips or daffodils in the spring in the mail. That's unheard of.
