Fertizlizer for hibiscus

What should I fertilize my hibiscus that I just severely pruned because of wooded branches & bare leaves. Thank you. San Diego coastal area. Standard red flower bush that has been sold for years in San Diego nursuries. Also about 5 years old in south location. Subject to coastal strong breezes, overcast but mild temperatures. Thanks again.

Thanks for writing. You can use any general-purpose garden fertilizer. There are organic and traditional types available. They'll both give your plant a boost.
