Cut amaryllis usually last for several days and maybe a week or more after they have been cut from the bulb. If you cut them in bud, just as the petals start to unfurl, they should last longer than that, especially if you can keep the blooms in a cool place in water. You will increase their vase life if you cut the whole stem, rather than just a single bloom which usually only lasts three or four days after cutting.
