WeedBGon and Drooping/Dying Annuals
2,4-D (one of the main ingredients in Weed-B-Gon) does not need to be applied directly to a plant to affect it. The chemical is quite volatile, and can move readily through the air to susceptible plants. Perennials may outgrow the effects of the herbicide, but it will take time. There is little you can do once the plants have taken up the herbicide, other than prevent them from receiving other stressors such as too much or too little water.
