carnations

is april too early to plant carnations? will carnations bloom well in a well-lit window?

Hi, No April isn't too early to plant carnations. They prefer cool weather and can tolerate a light frost. I would not plant them, though, if you could still get a hard freeze, but otherwise, I'd get them planted outdoors now. They are outdoor plants and won't do well indoors.
