My husband has sweet potatoes and something is eating at the tops of all his potatoes. We don't know what it is or how to stop it. It is ruining his potoatoes. We live in central Ohio. (Galion, Ohio)

Hi, So sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, but our system has been down for some time and we're just catching up with older questions. You don't give me any information about what the plants look like in terms of the foliage after it's been chewed on. My best guess is that you have rabbits, groundhogs or deer doing the damage. Insects rarely can take down a large amount of foliage in a small amount of time especially if you don't see them on the plants.
