Skunks, Rabbits & Squirrels

How do I keep Skunks, Rabbits & squirrels from making a feast out of my vegetable garden ? Last year for the first time I planted a pumpkin. It was coming along so well until one of these creatures ate it. Please help!

Well to be 100%  sure rabbits and skunks won't get in your vegetable garden you really need to rely on a chicken wire fence, at least 24 inches tall and buried about 6 to 8 inches in the ground. There are spray repellents for rabbits you could try, but they won't protect an entire garden. And, there are no repellents I know of for skunks. Squirrels are actually the hardest to keep out of the garden and really bad offenders might be best to remove with a live trap.
