Hi, Moles can be a problem in the spring while the weather is cool and moist because they make tunnels in the lawn in their efforts of catching and eating earthworms. Ultimately, they do move on as the weather warms and the earthworms go deeper underground so patience does work. However, you can also use any one of the mole-repellent products made by the company Liquid Fence (often found at Home Depot or Lowes). Their products work pretty well. Do not resort to any of the folklore remedies such as moth balls or chewing gum in the tunnels. They do not work.
