Little red bugs
Hi, Without seeing them in person I can't be sure, but my guess is that they are Red Velvet Mites. They are bright red and about the size of a pinhead. They will not hurt your plants are an important part of your soil's ecology because they eat other small insects and eggs of creatures such as snails. Again, i can't be sure without seeing them, but look them up online and see if they are what you have.
