My recipe calls for bittersweet chocolate. Can I use semisweet chocolate in its place?

You can use semisweet chocolate in place of bittersweet chocolate in most recipes. Bittersweet chocolate has a little less sugar and a slightly higher percentage of cacao, which gives it a slightly more intense chocolate flavor.
