I added too much salt to my soup. What can I do?

You can try adding more vegetables to the soup and a can of no-salt-added tomatoes (if it is a tomato-based soup).

Peal and cut a potato into 8 pieces, add to soup for approx. 20 minutes or until tender, then remove. The potato will absorb much of the salt.
