When I grate chocolate, it always melts in my hands. Is there a way to prevent this?
Try placing the unwrapped chocolate bar in a bowl in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to cool the bar down, then grate the chocolate while wearing clean rubber gloves to prevent the warmth from your hands from melting the chocolate.
Chopping chocolate squares in a food processor or blender also solves this problem.
