What if a cake recipe calls for cake flour and all I have is all-purpose flour?
For each cup of all-purpose flour used, remove 2 tablespoons of flour and replace it with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. Sift the flour-cornstarch mixture before adding to your batter.
