If wall covering is well adhered to the walls, can we paint over top of it?
If so, what products do we use? If not, how do we remove it effectively and prepare the walls for painting?
Although it is possible to paint over wallpaper, the seams will probably show through, and the paper may peel away from the wall. Vinyl wall coverings will not hold paint, so that’s not an option. Is it okay to paint over wallpaper? Your best solution is to remove the wallpaper and then prime and paint the surface. Our video offers step-by-step information.
