How can I remove dated wallpaper borders?
I purchased a house with dated wallpaper borders throughout. I have been told that since the borders are so old they will have to be steamed off. But then it seems that I run the risk of ruining the drywall. I have also been told that I could paint over the borders using a special process. What can I do to get rid of these ugly borders?
Removing wallpaper can be tricky because you run the risk of damaging the drywall beneath it. But you may be able to patch the drywall if not too much damage is done.
