Kitchen Remodel window and trim
We have refaced cabinets with cherry and purchased new cab. doors made of cherry. Installed a bead board cieling with new lighting. Granite countertops will be installed. (Nothing has been stained or painted yet.Previous owners installed new windows (light wood)colored vinyl.Rest of house all white windows and trim.Trim is in bad shape around windows. We want to stain cabinets darker than window color. What to do with trim around windows? Would it be bad to paint trim white and leave windows?
I would say paint the window trim white to match the rest of the house. Once you do all the updates in the kitchen (which sound very nice) no one will even notice the windows, let alone that the trim doesn’t match the wood tone of the vinyl.
