Any color would do, since your home's exterior is netural. Since a front door is only a small portion of a home's facade, you can be bold with color, without fear of being over the top. Look to your landscaping for color cues. A vibrant red would be a classic choice, or for something more modern, try a kelly green.

If your house is for sale, paint your front door yellow or gold. We used it on our house and our business and sold both shortly after painting the doors yellow.
